EcaKewala was founded in 2018 by Dewi Sartika, a passionate advocate for Indonesian culture and craftsmanship. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant traditions of her hometown in Bali, Dewi recognized the need to preserve these skills in an increasingly globalized world. What began as a small online store selling handmade batik clothing has since evolved into a platform that celebrates all aspects of Indonesian art and culture.
